The Family Residence

Just outside Atlanta, this backyard retreat was designed to meet the family's lifestyle and outdoor needs. Inspired by existing architecture and the desire for low maintenance, this design separated the space into specific outdoor "rooms".
The master plan created upper and lower covered terraces, a grill station, spa deck with arbor, sunken stone den and fireplace, circular arbor and ornamental paintings which gracefully touch and soften the elements. The landscape features dense plantings of evergreens and flowering shrubs which protect the privacy of this outdoor sanctuary, and an illumination that recreates a moonlit night.
Whether grilling, dining with friends, stargazing from the spa, lounging and listening to the arpeggio of the crickets, this backyard retreat offers a year-round experience for all to enjoy.
